Workshops , Seminars and Conferences attended
Prof. R. G. Kaduskar participated in Faculty Development Program ‘Mission 10X’ conducted by Wipro in April 2008. He also attended a two- day workshop on Teaching & Learning Methodologies-Mission 10X by Wipro in PVG’s COET.

Prof. R. G. Kaduskar received ‘Mission 10X certificate’ for Teaching and Learning from Wipro, India at the hands of Dr. Narendra Jadhav, Vice Chancellor, University of Pune in Sept’08.

Prof. K. J. Kulkarni participated in five-day Faculty Development Program on ‘Engineering Project Design in Service to Community’ organized by Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) at Infosys, Mysore from July 7-11, 2008. She also presented Progress report at IUCEE regional meet at Sakhar Sankul, Pune.

Prof. K. J. Kulkarni has delivered presentation on IUCEE Course for the faculty at PVG’s COET. She also attended one-day workshop on Advances in Control, communication and Sensor Technology organized by Aeronautical Society of India, Pune.

Prof. H. P. Kekade and Prof. P. G. Shete participated in Faculty Development Program ‘Mission 10X’ conducted by Wipro in July 2008.

Mrs. M. P. Atre attended recently, a Short Term Training Program on DSP experiments in MATLAB at RSCOE, Pune.

Mrs. S. A. Gandhi and Mrs. V. V. Sovani attended one- day workshop on Embedded System Designing and programming at MMCOE, Pune.

Prof. K. J. Kulkarni, Prof. M. H. Belsare, Mrs. T. S. Khatavkar and Mrs. V.V. Sovani attended one week ISTE sponsored Short Term Training Program on ‘Advanced Communication Systems’ organized by VIIT, Pune in June 2008.

Mrs. T.S. Khatavkar engaged the session of OTDR demonstration to participants in the same program.

Mr. M. S. Nagmode attended a two- day International Conference on ‘Wireless Mobile and Multimedia networks’, IET.

Mrs. M. P. Atre, Mrs. S. A. Gandhi, Mrs. M . M. Honap and Mrs. P. S. Deshpande attended a one-day workshop on ‘How advances in science are made’ by Nobel Laureate Prof. Douglas Osheroff in Feb. 2009 at CCOEW, Pune.


Paper presented/published
Prof. H. P. Kekade has presented a technical paper titled ‘Embedded Systems and its applications’ conducted by HVPM College of Engineering, Amravati.

Mr. M. S. Nagmode published technical papers titled ‘Wavelet Decomposition Based Moving Object Detection to optimize Time Performance Analysis’ in International Journal of Engineering. , Research and Industrial Applications (IJERIA), India and ‘A novel approach to detect and track Moving Object using Partitioning and Normalizing Cross Correlation’, in Journal of ICGST, Graphics, Vision and Image Processing, Germany. He also presented a paper on ‘Moving Object Detection from Image sequence in context with Multimedia Processing’ in IET International Conference at Mumbai.
