About Versatalia
Versatalia is an annual National Level Event comprising of Technical, Non-technical, Cultural and Sports competitions. It was started in 2008 and is being organized for the third time in February 2010.
Mission Statement
An Attempt To Project Our College As An Institution Of Excellence By Fostering The Educational And Co-curricular Development Union Of Youth Activities And Technical Pursuits To Use It As An Engine For Institutional Growth Boosting Our Image On A National Level.
NATIONAL LEVEL EVENTS:
PAPERRAZZI
PAPERAZZI is national level paper presentation competition. In this competition contestents are supposed to choose one from ten topics provided. Extracts are to be submitted 20 days in advance of the event,further,the selected participants get a chance to present their paper in final round.
THUNDERBOTZ
THUNDERBOTZ is national level robotics competition. It is divided into two sub events. Roborace+Robowar & Robotask.
Roborace :
The participants have to race against time as well as an opponent on given racing track.
Robotask :
A task will be assigned to the participants which they are supposed to complete within stipulated time.
CONTRIVANCE
CONTRIVANCE is national level project exibition, in which participants have to present their project on various technical & non-technical topics.Project whose abstracts are selected are given a chance to present themselves in project exhibition during the event.
C-ZAR
C-ZAR is national level C/C++ coding competition. It is categorized into two level FE/SE & TE/BE. Teams are be judged on the basis of coding, review and debugging skills.
INTEGRA
INTEGRA is national level Auto CAD competition. This competition is to test the skills in Auto CAD & engineering graphics. The competition consists of two rounds, elimination & final round. The elimination round comprises of 20 MCQ’s and 5-7 question based on engineering graphics. Participants need not to draw the sketches according to the scale. The participants clearing the cut-offs proceed to final final round,in which, participants will be given an isometric view and they are supposed to draw orthographic view or vice versa.
The winners are declared on the basis of :
1. Time taken to complete the drawing.
2. Accuracy of the drawing (As per judges)
BIG MONEY
Big Money is a virtual stock market game.The participants have to buy and sell stocks and make out the maximum amount out of it at the end of the competition.
WEB-ON-EYES
WEB-ON-EYES is website desiginig competition. This competition consist of two rounds elimination and final.Elimination round consists of MCQ’s based on webpage desigining and in final round problem statement will be given to the participants filtered out of the elims. Sponsors would be allowed to set their own problem statement for final round.
TRANSPUTER
TRANSPUTER is national level circuit desigining competition.This event consists of two levels.First level consist of MCQ’s.Only 8 teams will be selected for the final round.Final round consists of problem statement and team have to design the circuit using the provided componenets.This contest is divided into two levels FE/SE and TE/BE.
SNAPOZZ
SNAPOZZ is photography competition.
It is divided into two parts:
1.Moment of the Event:-In this competition participants need to take photograph of any thing(events,celebrity,crowd etc) that they feel intresting present in versatalia campus.Everyday one best photograph will be declare as ‘Moment of the Event’.
2.Mad Adds : Participants need to create an add on the subject provided to them in the form of snaps or a video.The subject may be given by sponsor companies.
CROSSROADS
CROSSROADS is national level debate competition where the event will take place in two rounds:the eliminations and the final.The contestents will be given 5 topics to choose from,for the elimination,1 week in advance.The teams selected from the eliminations will be given a topic(on the spot) with a stipulated period for preparation.Each team consists of the two members only.
TECHNODUMS
This is technical dumsharads competition.To play technical dumsharads a team of two requires.A technical word or phrase will be given to one of the participants and his/her teammate need to identify that word or phrase from the hand movement of his/her hand movement etc.
INTRA UNIVERSITY LEVEL EVENTS
CRYORRIORS
CRYORRIORS is an intra university sports competition involving colleges coming under the University of Pune.The number of entries to the event will be restricted in each sport.The 8 sports will be contested for cryorriors are as follows,
1.Cricket

4.Volleyball
5.Kabaddi
6.Table Tennis
7.Box cricket
8.Badminton
RHYTHM N RAGA
RHYTHM N RAGA is classical and dancing competition.
Classical Solo Dancing: This will involve Bharatnatyam & Kathak.
Sugam Sangit: This includes classical solo singing.
