The department of Information Technology is established in the year 2000 with undergraduate course with sanctioned intake of 60. The department is committed to provide quality education and preparing students for successful careers in the dynamic field of IT. With a team of experienced faculty members and state-of-the-art facilities we strive to create an environment that nurtures academic excellence and encourages creative thinking.

The department faculty is actively involved and contributing to various interdisciplinary platforms like VLAB, Spoken Tutorial, Various Bridging Courses, Audit Courses, Honors courses.

We foster strong ties with industry partners, providing students with opportunities for internships, projects, and exposure to real-world challenges.

Objectives:

• To promote, encourage and co-ordinate student association, out-of-classroom learning, sports and social activities.
• To inculcate technical skills through technical activities like paper presentation, seminars, workshops etc.
• To develop soft-skills as well as organizational skills.

 Association Structure and Activities:

To achieve the motive ITSA has a committee formed for every academic year for the smooth conduction of various activities. Students from the First to Final year of the Information Technology department are involved in these activities.

ITSA was reformed in the year 2017-18 by the final year students of the Information Technology Department. Previously, it was a joint venture of Computer Engineering and Information Technology Students, known as ASCI (Association of Students of Computer and IT) formed in 2004-05. The sole purpose in forming this association was to bring students together and to provide them the platform to nurture their talent.

Thus ITSA was formed to groom up the students’ innovation, talent and skills.
