It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) First-Year Engineering (FE) 2024 Syllabus, designed in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This revised curriculum is a progressive step towards a more holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary approach to technical education. The inclusion of courses under Co-Curricular Courses (CCC), Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), and Design Thinking & Idea Lab (DTIL) ensures that students gain a well-rounded educational experience, equipping them with the necessary skills for the dynamic engineering landscape.

The implementation of NEP 2020 compliance in the syllabus fosters a learner-centric approach, emphasizing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on learning.

As we embark on this academic transformation, our dedicated faculty members and administrative team are committed to the seamless execution of this curriculum.
