Kruttika Award

  • Since 2011-12, every year, female topper from T.E. Electrical class, is awarded by Atlas Copcowith a scholarship of Rs. 50,000/- towards “Female Engineer Scholarship Award – Kruttika”.
  • In the year 2024-25, Ms. Kiran Chavan  is nominated for this award
  • In the year 2023-24, Ms. Rutuja Gund received this award
  • In the year 2022-23, Ms. Samruddhi Sutar received this award
  • In the year 2021-22, Ms. Renuka Joshi received this award
  • In the year 2020-21, Ms. Sania Walunjkar received this award

Academic Year 2025-26

  • Pratik Kaldhone of BE Electrical secured 5th Rank in CGPA Rank list of April / May 2024 Examinations conducted by The Rank list is declared on 26.11.2025
  • Mr Sudarshan Bangar, TE Electrical, completed the Lokmat Maha Marathon Pune (21 km in 1.43 hrs,  venue: SPPU, Pune) on Sunday, 22 February 2026  and achieved the accolades of among the Top 50 Finishers.
  • Third-year Electrical Engineering student Uday Kadve won a consolation prize in the state-level elocution competition organized by Sanskar Mandir Sanstha’s Arts and Commerce College on 16 February 2026, where he spoke on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Imagination and Reality.”
  • The INNOVEXA team, consisting of six interdisciplinary students from the college, has secured a place in the final round of the national competition Smart India Hackathon 2025. The team includes Vedant Charegaonkar and Sanika Phalle, from TE Electrical and Sanyuri Jamdade, from SE Electrical. They were selected for the final round after successfully clearing multiple rounds and evaluations.
  • Piyush Bagul from BE 2025-26 and Ms. Aishwarya Valsa from BE 2024-26 are placed in companies Topy Inudstries and Takasago Thermal Engineering, Japan respectively, through Asia to Japan, Fast Offer Program and AtoJ Hirameki.

Academic Year 2024-25

  • Rohit Vinod Bari of Electrical Engineering is awarded Gold Medals by Savitribai Phule Pune Unversity for having secured the highest number of marks and stood First based on CGPA (9.79), at the B.E. (Electrical) examination April/May 2023.
  • Piyush Mahajan (2nd Rank), Akshay Badhe (5th Rank), Sneha Adke (9th Rank) and Ashraf Shaikh (10th Rank) appeared in the CGPA based rank list of SPPU for April / May 2023
  • Seven students of Electrical engineering secured ranks in SGPA rank list for BE Electrical Examination of April / May 2023. Sneha Adke (2nd Rank), Piyush Mahajan (3rd Rank), Rohit Vinod Bari (4th Rank), Jay Jambhale (8th Rank), Akshay Badhe (8th Rank), Varun Talwalkar (8th Rank) and Ashraf Shaikh (10th Rank)
  • Three students Fardin Pathan, Shruti Salgaonkar and Prachi Garud, received placement offer from Atlas Copco  during their Third Year of engineering
  • Ganesh Wadmare, Ph. D student received First prize in the presentation for the paper “Virtual Inertia and Virtual Damping in Renewable Microgrids: Pathways to Sustainable Frequency Control” authored at International Conference on Futuristic Advances in Mechatronics Engineering for Aerospace and Defence (ICFAMEAD 2024), at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, during 4th -5th October 2024.

Interdisciplinary Project State level project competition State PVG’s COET & GKPIM, Pune First Prize

 

  • Bhuvanesh Kulkarni sir has given donation of Rs 3 lakh to Pune Vidyarthi Griha. From the interest of this donation, prizes are given to best projects from Electrical Engineering department. The prize money will be utilized for the hardware requirement of the projects. These prizes are given in the Memory of Late Ravindra Prabhakar Kulkarni and this is a continuous activity for 15 years.
