	Name of Alumni : Dr. Vibhas Deshpande Year of Passing : 1997 Qualification : Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering, Northwestern University, USA, 2003 M.S. Biomedical Engg, Northwestern University, USA, 2000 Current Position : Director, MR R&D Collaborations, Organization : Siemens Healthineers, USA Significant Contributions : Pioneered a number of novel MR technologies for imaging the heart, brain, abdomen, orthopaedics and angiography Owner of 5 US patents, and over 35 peer-reviewed journal publications (Plus 10 filed patents) Identified in Siemens Healthineers as one of a very select group of MR “Key Experts” globally First author of one of the top 300 most cited papers in one of the leading journals in MRI (Magnetic Resonance in Medicine), 2013 Graham Fellowship, awarded by Northwestern University, 2002 Walter P. Murphy Fellowship, awarded by Northwestern University, 1998 ISMRM Student Travel Award 1999, 2000, and 2001. 	Name of Alumni : Dr. Rahee Walambe Year of Passing : 2002 Qualification : M.Phil. – PhD, (Robotics and AI), Lancaster University, UK , 2008 M.E. ( Electrical Power Systems ) , PVG’s COET, Pune, 2014 Current Position : Assistant Professor in E&TC Engineering Organization : Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International University, Lavle, Pune Significant Contributions : Recipient of the prestigious Overseas Research Studentship Award of Universities UK, Govt. of UK. Involved in a number of research projects ranging from aerospace, healthcare to autonomous vehicles. WOS-A research fellow of Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Since May 2019, he is working as a Systems Manager and has filed two patent in the field of ‘Increasing PWM resolution for digitally controlled motor control applications’.
