There are four Multidisciplinary projects. Four teams are working in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering department and Electronics and Technology Department.
Glimpses of Projects:
- Om Kharadkarl, Aditya Nikam, Gayatri Waze and Mansi Wagh are working on Interdisciplinary project “Smart EcoBin” alongwith Mechanical Engineering students. It integrates software and hardware components to improve waste management practices. The system focuses on efficient waste segregation and monitoring using a smart bin setup, combined with a digital platform for tracking and analysis. It aims to promote better waste handling without relying heavily on complex sensor-based mechanisms. The main objective of EcoBin is to encourage sustainable waste disposal habits and streamline waste management processes. It helps in reducing environmental impact by improving segregation efficiency and enabling better monitoring and awareness through technology.
- Shivraj Shelar, Harish Thakre and Mugdha Chaudhari are developing an multidisciplinary project “Agentic-AI based Active Suspension and Geometry Control System” with Mechanical Engg and E&TC Engg. Department students. The Project focuses on the development of an AI-enabled predictive active suspension and wheel geometry control system for next-generation vehicles. The main objective of this system is to transform the traditional reactive suspension mechanism into an intelligent predictive platform capable of understanding road conditions before the vehicle experiences disturbances.
- Sujal Sonawane, Sanat Bali are working on an interdisciplinary project “Robotic Gloves for Sign-to-Speech Converter” with Mechanical Engg. students. It is a smart wearable system that converts hand gestures of sign language into read text and audible speech.
- Parth Gadekar, Khyati Samant, Mansha Mantoo and Tanvi Ahire are working on an interdisciplinary project “Stair-Climbing Autonomous Delivery Robot” with Mechanical Engg. Students. It is a smart robotic system designed to transport small packages across indoor environments, including areas with staircases and uneven surfaces. The project combines robotics, autonomous navigation, and embedded systems to create a practical solution for modern delivery and assistance applications.
