Supra SAEINDIA 2025 | Formula Student | All India Rank 1 (ICV)
Supra SAEINDIA 2025 (13–16 August, Buddh International Circuit, Delhi) marked a historic achievement as Team Maverick from PVG’s COET & M secured All India Rank 1 in the ICV category. Led by Captain Mr. Ramkrishna Vibhute and Vice-Captain Mr. Shreyas Kelkar, the team became the only one in India with three consecutive podium finishes. Guided by Faculty Advisor Prof. M. M. Kamble Sir, recipient of the Dronacharya Award, this success stands as a legacy of passion, discipline, and teamwork.

- The 11th edition of SUPRA SAEINDIA took place from October 2nd to 5th, 2024, at the renowned Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida. It attracted over 60 teams and more than 1,500 engineering students from leading institutions across India. The competition featured two categories—Internal Combustion Vehicles (ICV) and Electric Vehicles (EV)—providing students with a platform to explore cutting-edge advancements in automotive engineering and design.

The SAE BAJA 2025 event is being held at NATRAX, Pithampur, Indore, from 9th – 12thJanuary, 2025. The theme, “Fusion 4 Future,” emphasizes technology, diversity, sustainability, and connectivity in automotive engineering.
Team Conquistador (mBAJA) from mechanical engineering department participated in the competition. It challenges our team to design, fabricate, and validate a single-seater, off-road vehicle that can withstand harsh terrain and rigorous endurance conditions.

- Final Year student’s project “Multipurpose Material Handling Robot” Sponsored by La Foundation Dassault Systems was appreciated at 3D Experience forum at Bangalore by Mr. Bernard Charlès, CEO Dassault Systems, France. This project was partially funded by Dassault System and selected as one of the best projects to showcase at 3D Experience forum -2024. Samadhan Bhavar, Nikhil Koshti, Pradnya Sonar and Shantanu Kulkarni from B.E. Mechanical worked in the project under the guidance of Prof. Vishal Chavan. . Heartiest Congratulations to all of them!!
- Third Year Student’s mini project “Smart Ladder” has won 2nd Prize in ‘open innovation category’ at National Level competition DIPEX 2024 held at 7 th to 10 th March 2024 at Nerul Min that Mr. Atharva Borhade, Mr. Nikhil suryawanshi, Mr. Piyush Pansare and Mr. Nilesh karkhele worked in the project under the guidance of Dr. M. M. Bhoomkar. On this project patent is filed and published under the guidance of Prof. R. H. Tike. Heartiest Congratulations to all of them.

Sumeet Dhanedar, Captain and 24 more students participated in the competition from the Mechanical Department. Prof. Vishal Chavan, Faculty Advisor guided the students.
- ‘‘Team Maverick’ official Student Formula Racing team of PVG’s COET&GKPIOM, Pune has won All India Rank Third in Formula Bharat 2023 Competition held at Coimbatore, India.
