Association of Printing Engineering Students (COPE)

Circle of printing Engineers (COPE) was formed in the year 1996. COPE organizes many activities, such as, organizing guest lectures, industrial visits, co-curricular and extracurricular events, social activities etc. throughout the year. COPE maintains student’s library in the Printing department which consists of reference books, seminar reports and project reports for reference.

Following activities are conducted during last three academic years

Various curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities are organized for students through Circle of Printing Engineering (COPE). Prof. Swati Dutt is working as COPE Staff Coordinator.

Events Conducted by COPE in AY 2023-24

  1. Conducted a Corrugation Workshop based on Industrial Application on 18th and 19th October by Mr. Ramkumar Sunkara
  2. Special Lecture on “trends in global print industry and career paths” by Manish Kapoor on 15 Jan 2024
  3. Printer’s Day 2024 organized on 24 Feb 2024. Mr. Subodh Kulkarni, Alumni 1990 was invited as Chief guest.

Events Conducted by COPE in AY 2022-23

  1. On August 1, 2022, an International Paper’s Day quiz was conducted.
  2. The inauguration of Cope took place on August 25, 2022.
  3. Teachers’ Day was celebrated on September 6, 2022.
  4. A photography competition was held on September 12, 2022.
  5. On September 16, 2022, a visit to the Bureau of Indian Standards took place.
  6. Mr. Chinmay Peshave conducted a guest session on November 28, 2022.
  7. An industrial visit to Akruti Printers occurred on December 14, 2023.
  8. On December 15, 2023, an industrial visit was organized at Vikram Printers.
  9. Mr. Jitendra conducted a hands-on workshop on Screen Printing and Packaging Technology on March 2, 2023.
  10. An essay competition was held on Printer’s Day, on March 24, 2023.
  11. Mathematics Day was celebrated on March 14, 2023.
  12. An industrial visit to Avery Dennison was conducted on April 18, 2023, and continued on April 19, 2023.
  13. An outreach activity involving a visit to Vishwakarma School took place on April 28, 2023, as part of the eco-friendly week.
  14. Packathon occurred on May 5, 2023, at Printera.
  15. On May 5, 2023, a Print & Pack Quiz was organized at Printera.
  16. Logo Designing took place on May 6, 2023, at Printera.
  17. A Treasure Hunt event was held on May 6, 2023, at Printera.
